Booking and arrival
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4PM and check-out is 11AM.
Where is Cromore Retreat located?
Cromore Retreat is located at 52 Cromore Road, Portstewart. Through the white electric gates at the entrance to Cromore Road, travel the historic driveway to our designated car-park on the left beside the welcoming reception building. We look forward to seeing you.
Is Cromore Retreat open to families?
We only welcome guests that are over the age of 18 to help ensure everyone has a relaxing and peaceful stay.
Are the bubble domes pet friendly?
Unfortunately not. Due to the construction materials of the domes, pets are unsuitable guests.
Your dome
How private are the bubble domes?
Cromore Retreat is only accessible to guests. Each individual bubble dome suite is surrounded by a two-metre high closed fence with a lockable gate only accessible by you. Our handmade four-poster beds have curtains that can be drawn for that extra sense of privacy.
Do you have hot tubs?
Yes we do. Our Wray Suite, Cromie Suite, Montagu Suite and McDonnell Suite each come equipped with a private outdoor hot tub and can be booked through our website. Our hot tubs are unlimited use. They are drained, sanitised and refilled with fresh warm water between every guest. Plus, all of our domes have an Italian stone bath with included bath bubbles and bath salts. Lie back and relax while looking up at the stars without having to step outside.
Do the bubble domes have heating or cooling?
Yes. Our luxury bubble dome suites each come equipped with their own thermostatically controlled, energy efficient heat pumps. These can deliver either hot or cool air depending on the temperature you desire.
On the estate
Do you have a sauna on site?
Yes. We have a traditional electric sauna on site and it is complimentary for all our guests staying at the retreat. Opening hours are 5PM until 9PM.
Is breakfast included in my stay?
There is an option to add a locally curated breakfast hamper made by Chestnutt's Farm in Portrush. Please select this at the time of booking. All suites come equipped with a Nespresso machine and pods, tea bags and fresh milk.
